im new to all this please bare with me ..here goes my son is 11 and due to go in for major op where hes having pevis bone and both legs broken muscels cut and reset and plates put in been told hes going to be in wheel chair for at least 6mth after and has to learn to walk over again does any one of any help I can get like who supplys the wheel chair and where can I get a portable toilet frm as cnt lift him up and down stairs im single mum of 4 and my youngest is in a pushchair so how will I be able to take both y youngest and my son in his wheel chair out also who can I ask for money to travel to and frm hospital everyday wen he stays in so many questions sorry but real be gratefull for any ideas

Hi Angel, You should be able to access the help of an occupational therapist through the hospital or your local GP. There is a link on the NHS website that gives more detail. The occupational therapist should also be able to arrange any equipment or adaptations required.
