That's the beauty of 'And another thing...' - you can't be off topic!
So many individual and team highlights it's almost impossible to choose.
One thing I have really been proud of is the way the crowd has got behind every athlete, and when someone is coming in minutes behind the race winners they keep cheering until they all make it over the line. Restores my faith in humanity.
I know what you mean about 'brave' - I'm sure it's meant with good intent but for me it has slightly patronising overtones. The Paralympians, just like the Olympians before them, have been inspiring.
perhaps one games legacy will be that disabled people are innovators, designers and engineers.Reports on the games say that many competitors adapted their own equipment. Lets hope this means that more disabled people are encouraged to become designers and engineers starting from the age they make their GCSE or Standard Grade options
Another great memory of the games - CP football is really exciting , fast and skilful , i would pay more to watch that than SPL or Premiership stop-start stuff
