TGA’s supplier of its market leading Breeze mobility scooters, Afikim Electric Vehicles based in Israel, has announced expansion of its production facilities on its stand at Rehacare 2013 (Düsseldorf, 25-28 September, Hall 05 / E32).

 Daniel Stone, TGA Managing Director and Tim Ross, TGA National Sales Manager were invited to Rehcare to celebrate this news and discuss future plans and products from this world leading scooter supplier. Several meetings were held with Shimon Bagron, Afikim Operations Director and the Marketing Manager, Ofer Amitay so that TGA could plan for potential new and pioneering product launches in 2014. Afikim has been based in the second largest Kibbutz in Israel for over 30 years and supplies TGA with its award-winning Breeze S4, S3 and Breeze Midi mobility scooters.

Tim Ross comments: “It was a pleasure as ever to meet up with Afikim at Reha as they are a valued supplier to TGA. We appreciate that the engineering quality of the Breeze is a major part of our success here in the UK with retailers. The news that production facilities and scooter output is to increase from the Kibbutz will benefit all our retailers as sales capacity and delivery time frames will be enhanced. Listening to Shimon and Ofer, we were assured that Afikim’s high levels of quality control will continue and witnessed details regarding a radical new product already at advanced concept stage. 2014 promises to be even more exciting for both our businesses along with all TGA dealers.”
