TGA, the UK-leading mobility scooter specialist and official sponsor of the Naidex Test Track, will be offering consumers the chance to win a luxurious hamper by entering its ‘Test Track Challenge’ at the NEC, 28-30 March. (Opposite TGA’s stand A59).

Naidex is one of the largest independent living and rehabilitation shows in the UK and showcases the latest mobility products and services to consumers, healthcare professionals and the trade. TGA is a long-standing supporter of the event and will be once again displaying its complete range of award-winning scootersand wheelchairs. For the 2017 event TGA will be launching the largest number of new products ever in its illustrious 30-year history – all unveiled for the first time on stand A59.

Alongside this stand TGA will be hosting the mobility scooter and powered wheelchair test track which provides the opportunity to safely test-drive products around a course of ramps and obstacles. This gives end users the chance to test and compare all models whilst assessing suitability and drivability before possible purchase. The highly experienced TGA Assessors managing the track will offer safe-driving guidance and the opportunity to win a Fortnum and Mason hamper.

The TGA ‘Test Track Challenge’ at Naidex 2017 will be a competition open to all consumer visitors. This driving experience promises to be fun and informative as it will highlight the latest techniques for remaining safe when riding a scooter – delivered in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. This will not be a driving test, simply an invaluable awareness exercise to enhance confident and safety. Entrants will need to tackle a designated course whilst a TGA Assessor scores driving accuracy when tackling ‘sleeping policemen’, tight corners, reverse parking zones, kerbs and uneven surfaces. Speed will not be the winning factor as this is not a time trial, it is a proficiency challenge with the winner receiving the least number of penalty points. Once the track has been completed the driver’s name and associated score will be displayed on a ‘Top Gear style’ leader board. The competitors with the highest score at the end of Naidex will be entered into a free prize draw to win a luxurious hamper courtesy of TGA.
