Highlight features included:
- The first Mobility Roadshow to be held in Scotland, it was supported by the Scottish Executive and the Department for Transport.
- Over one third of exhibitors were Scottish companies, many of whom welcomed the opportunity to showcase products in Scotland for the first time.
- A new concept Baby Carrier that attached to the front of a wheelchair was a popular introduction from the BathInstitute of Medical Engineering.
- A convenient and inexpensive ultrasonic parking sensor system, the Targa TR2, was one of the new mobility concepts exhibited.
Allied Vehicles with its first automatic vehicle, Brotherwood Automobility with a new wheelchair passenger conversion and Vauxhall Motability showcasing its fifth generation Astra led new introductions in the motoring arena.
