Blackwood care and LCIL have joined together to provide a free training course for anybody wanting to become a personal assitant to a disabled person. The training is a 2 day course that is designed by the LCIL and delivered by disabled people to ensure that the participants been trained get the most out of the 2 days and have a greater and deeper understanding of the issues that disabled people face.

The training date had yet to be certified but it will be in the very near future.

The only 2 stipulations are that:

1) you have to live in edinburgh

2) you must be currently unemployed
