THE LATEST INNOVATIONS AND NEWS IN HEALTHCARE

It’s been another busy month at Trabasack HQ. We’ve been organising ourselves ready for Kidz in the Middle whilst also carrying on with our regular day to day business. Now spring has firmly decided to stick around the warmer weather means we can’t help but look ahead to all the outdoor activities and events taking place throughout summer. Disability Rocks is a top UK festival event for people living with disabilities and we reckon a Trabasack is the perfect travel companion for a festival day out.

We’ve also taken a step backwards to look at how important play time and regular toys can be for young children. Yeah, technology is great but playing with tactile and sensory toys is also really important so we’ve picked out some of the best toys for your children to use rather than the tablet on their buggy tray. We support Geco Hub Kickstarter

New and innovative inventions are launched onto the marker everyday and sometimes we see one that really speaks to us. Geco Hub is an innovative and flexible wall mounted storage system which could be immensely useful for people living with a range of disabilities. Are you ready for Disability Rocks?

Disability Rocks is a series of summer festivals designed to be inclusive and ensure people living with disabilities can enjoy the festival environment, arts and music as easily as anybody else. We’re excited for this year’s timetable and also highlight how helpful your trusty Trabasack could be as you enjoy the acts. Read more about the events here. 

Fun Lap Toys without Tech

Going back to basics is a wonderful way of interacting and playing with your children. Here we’re looking at some fun lap top toys that can be enjoyed by children of all ages including those in buggies. See you at Kidz in the Middle

On 27th March, so just days from now, both Trabasack and our good friends at Active Hands will be exhibiting at Kidz in the Middle. This is a hugely popular, FREE, exhibition for all those involved in caring for children with disabilities as well as the children themselves. Find out more about the event here. 

Trabasack Spotted!

With Festival Season upon us we couldn’t help but share this fab photo of two music-loving Trabasaxons enjoying the Cambridge Folk Festival with the added benefit of their handy Trabasack acting as helpful food trays. The photos were sent to us by Barbara Pritchard who described her Trabasack as a ‘must have accessory for all festivals’
