Remap, the charity that provides bespoke equipment for disabled people, celebrated some amazing new inventions at its annual awards last week. Here are some examples:

Did everybody see "the Big Life Fix" on Wednesday evening (BBC2 9.00pm)? In the programme they do what we do at Remap - an expert meets a disabled person who is prevented from doing what they love doing by an impairment of some sort, then they make a device or piece of equipment to help the person overcome this hurdle. Very inspiring!

Remap is a very special charity. Its 900 volunteers use their skill and ingenuity to design and make equipment for disabled people.
