Granted it’s not exactly a brand-new theme (“disability is so very misunderstood”) but the object here isn’t to have a lazy moan. Not least of all because I, personally, don’t have a disability. I’m just interested to find out what people affected will have to say.
So the question is – ‘What’s the one thing people often wrongly assume you can’t do?’
Driving is a common one as is sex (not at the same time). Visually impaired people being talked at loudly on the assumption they are also deaf seems to be common. What do people assume or ask you about your disability?
Let’s see if there are some common denominators here.
