It was two portions of fruit for £3 discounted to £1.75 cause it was past it's sell by date It should have been discounted more than that because if you bought two portions you where still cheeper at the £3 pound rate than the discounted rate . I hope this is clear.

it means that adults with learning difficulties could get confused about what is a real bargin.

I agree Caroline, they do this all the time, especially with their muli-pack offers.  You need to be careful and watch otherwise you end up paying more.

WE couldn't start a campaign for clearer priceing because it is very unfair on people who have numercy problems and they tend to have less money than the rest of us

Saw the same thing on the discount section in Asda yesterday, as you say its ok for us that can count quickly and see its a rip off, but the poor and vulnerable will surely be caught out by this so called bargain, shame on the big stores for this kind of thing

i think they are all at it little do they realise if they adertise a clear priceing policy we'd flock to shop with them
