I have recently had a wheelchair carrier fitted to my car which increases the total height of the vehicle considerably.  Most multi-storey car parks have a height barrier of 1.9 metres which means that I am unable to enter them.   Do any  people have the same problem and what is their solution?    The alternative in some of them is to park in the open air car park adjacent to the multi storey but there are not always disabled spaces available and I need to have at least a door opening clearance to load and unload my wheelchair.
