When I moved into my flat I received a tour of the building and a welcome pack. Now as most MSers know, we get brain fog when Fatigued or Stressed so the tour of facilities was done in a haze. So when I recovered a few of my marbles I sat down to read the content of my welcome pack it was full of information, which whilst being informative it didn't tell me what I needed to know. 

For instance, a map of the facility, showing where the various offices were, the laundry, and the cafe. A staff pyramid with names and their roles with contact details. A list of the nearest Doctors, shops and post boxes. Times of meals, how to get a menu and how to book a meal as well as pay for it. How much the laundry facility was and how to book it. A map of the local area and bus stops easily taken from google maps.  I didn't know that we had a communal TV License and had just changed the address on my own one. All these would be so useful for the new resident and help them orientate themselves without having to bother the staff. 

Also it would be useful if staff had name badges with their names and roles on them so we know who the heck we are talking to or who is talking to us. The staff here are wonderful and really don't mind us asking questions or looking blankly at them as we try to figure out who they are, but just being able to say good morning Fred and not erm good morning would be so much nicer.

So information like this would be so handy for us newbies and I am sure would make life easier for us and staff.
