Imagine a world where children's wheelchairs were were small, affordable and motorised... wouldn't it be nice?
Well now that dream is being made a reality as students from Birgham Young University have developed a new and improved electric wheelchair. The wheelchair includes feature such as only weighing 9 kilos , batteries, wheels, motors, the electronics needed for a joystick controller, and a padded seat and only costs a slight £334/$495 from the average £10'115/$15'000.
Made from PVC pipes the chair can withstand the weight of a young child of 23 kilos and has the support that most disabled children are in need of.
