I saw the following news report (see video below) about a woman in the USA who started making shirts with magnetic buttons for her husband who had been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.
The illness chipped away at his mobility and motor skills until one day he couldn't button his shirt. Since his wife created these shirts for him he can dress himself in seconds as the magnets simply click together to fasten the shirt.
This got me wondering how do other people manage who have similar difficulty with buttons? Is this trick with magnets common? Or do most people in this situation have to accept help to dress? Would be interesting to know what solutions exist that people use.
