About three years ago I started up GlamSticks (www.glamsticks.co.uk) when I was frustrated at the lack of glam crutches on the market having become disabled through ME myself.

Since then I have won awards and been featured in the media and my GlamSticks have been used by celebs and on the catwalk and at red carpet events in the news.

I had to give up GlamSticks recently when my condition worsened but it has been taken over by Sharon Farley Mason who is continuing where I left off, including the charity work GlamSticks was involved in.

GlamSticks has influenced others to start up customising their own walking sticks and crutches and that can only be a good thing.  There has also been an influx of other businesses taking the idea on board.  This can only be good news for the fashion conscious.  All thanks to GlamSticks! xx
