If you’ve been following bespoken for a while you’ll know that we have some pretty “out there” concepts on this website that can only have been dreamed up through a cocktail of divine inspiration and a fair dose of eccentricity.
The latest to join the line up in our collection is this jaw-droppingly awesome wheelchair accessible motorbike:
Yes. That is wheelchair accessible and is designed specifically with this demographic in mind. For anyone who loves motorbikes but has been unable to ride one due to using a wheelchair, the Mobility Conquest is an appealing prospect.
How do you transfer onto it from your wheelchair?
You don’t is the short answer. Provided you have a suitable wheelchair at any rate. The Mobility Conquest has a built in ramp at the back that you can pull up into with your wheelchair which will then be securely locked into place.
How well does it run?
I’m not the most technically minded person but here are a couple of facts to hopefully shed some light on this question:
1) The Mobility Conquest is equipped with a 1170 CC engine
2) It can reach 60 mph within 7.6 seconds
3) It has a top speed of 105 mph
Check out this mini documentary to find out more about the Mobility Conquest. Watch out at about 4:20 in you get a good look at how a wheelchair user get behind the handlebars.
